What we do for leisure venues

We help design experiences guests want to come back to and implement automation that takes work off staff. We also build custom solutions and develop our own tools. We always start with guest behaviour and context, and choose the technology last.

01 — Guest experience and journey

We design the experience as a sequence of moments, not a set of screens and features. We look at what happens before the visit, at entry, while waiting, at the core of the attraction, after the result and after leaving the venue.

We check, among other things:

  • whether guests understand what to do,
  • whether they see progress and know how to improve,
  • whether the group sees and reinforces success,
  • whether the next attempt differs from the last one,
  • whether a result, a story or a reason to return stays after the visit.

Gamification as a tool, not a goal

Mastery and personal bests, skill levels, team scores, competition, exploration, missions and continuity between visits. We pick the mechanic for the behaviour we want to encourage. Points or a leaderboard without meaning or a next goal quickly become decoration.

Where do we start?

With one moment of the visit and one behaviour we want to change. We run a small test in one zone or at one attraction, watch the guests and only then decide whether to expand.

02 — Automation in amusement parks

In many venues, staff do by hand what could happen on its own: retyping bookings, counting entries, collecting fault reports on paper, announcing scores. We help change that step by step.

We implement, among other things:

  • online booking with capacity control and confirmations,
  • entry and wristbands with RFID/NFC, QR tickets and timed packages,
  • fault reporting from QR codes at attractions, routed to the right person,
  • scores and leaderboards at attractions: timing, points, screens,
  • notifications by SMS and email for guests and staff,
  • integrations with tills, POS, ticketing, accounting and spreadsheets.

Do we have to replace our current systems?

We do not assume so. First we check what already works at the venue: APIs, data exports, integration options. Often it is enough to connect existing systems and add the missing piece.

03 — Custom solutions

When off-the-shelf systems do not fit your venue, we design and build a solution from scratch. We handle the whole path: from idea and prototype to rollout and maintenance.

We build, among other things:

  • web apps and staff dashboards,
  • API integrations between venue systems,
  • devices with NFC/RFID readers, sensors, screens and sound,
  • local systems that keep working without internet,
  • game and gamification mechanics: scores, progress, missions, reasons to return,
  • reports and data on traffic, scores and guest behaviour.

Do we need to build a big system straight away?

No. We start with a small test: one attraction, one zone or one process. First we see how guests and staff behave, then we decide whether to expand.

Does it have to run in the cloud?

No. In physical venues what matters is working on site, resilience to internet outages and independence from a single vendor. We fit the architecture to real conditions.

04 — Amuzando's own tools

Some problems repeat across many venues. For those we build our own products that you can start using right away, without a project from scratch. They run in the browser, so guests do not need to install anything.

  • Golf — Puttly (live): a digital mini golf scorecard. Guests scan a QR code, enter names and keep score on their phone.
  • Booking (coming soon): time-slot booking for attractions, play centres and birthday parties, with the venue confirming each request.
  • Spotivo (live): guest reports from QR codes at attractions. Staff get a notification with the place and time, take the report and close it, and the owner sees statistics. You set up the account yourself.
  • Bandly (coming soon): RFID wristbands. Reception issues a wristband with entry and tokens, the bar, attractions and machines redeem tokens, and at exit you see time on site and the wristband history.

We help you roll out these tools, adapt them to your venue and connect them with other systems. If a tool does not cover everything, we extend it as a custom solution.

05 — New venue from scratch

Building a venue from scratch or opening a new location? The design studio and manufacturers handle the space and attractions. We organise operations so the venue works from day one:

  • booking and sales live before opening: slots, birthdays, groups,
  • team: shift rota, training and station permissions,
  • equipment list: each device with warranty, manual, repair history and inspection dates,
  • faults: QR reports from day one, linked to equipment,
  • suppliers, subcontractors and service: contacts, service contracts and requests in one place,
  • procedures: opening, closing and handover checklists.

Some of this runs on our tools (Spotivo, Booking, Bandly); the rest we implement and connect with the tills and systems you choose. See what we do for new venues →

How we work

  1. Conversation — we agree what to improve and what result should be visible.
  2. Venue review — we look at processes, guests and existing systems.
  3. Choosing the path — a ready tool, an integration or a custom solution.
  4. Small test — one zone or attraction before the whole park.
  5. Rollout and maintenance — we grow what works and stay on for support.

What would you like to improve at your venue?

A guest experience, a mechanic or a manual staff process. Use the form or email kontakt@amuzando.com.
